FCC Certification
The FCC Mark is required for products sold in the United States are regulated by the Federal Communications Commission. FCC Rules and Regulations, Title 47, Part 15, Subpart B, Class A which pertains to a device for use in an industrial or business environment and not intended for use in the home or a residential area.
UL Certification
UL is a product safety certification organization aimed to promote safe working environments by the application of hazard-based safety engineering and support the production and use of products which are physically and environmentally safe.
UL 508 Certification
Industrial Control Equipment is used extensively in industrial applications including starting, stopping, regulating, controlling, reversing, changing speed, or protecting electric motors. Industrial Control Equipment is required to be designed, built and evaluated for their function and safety in compliance with an established National / International standard. UL 508 covers the safety requirements for Industrial Control Equipment.
Class 1 Division 2 Certification
Hazardous environments are defined by the National Electrical Code (NEC) as those areas where fire or explosion hazards may exist due to flammable gases or vapor, flammable liquids, combustible dust, or ignitable substances. Electronic products must meet certain requirements and obtain special certifications in order to be used in these environments.

It is linked with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) which sets collection, recycling and recovery targets for electrical goods.
