PcVUE
- SCADA
PcVue is a
new generation of 32 bit SCADA software characterised
by its modern and powerful ergonomics. Developed
by Arc Informatique using the latest software
technology (Visual C++, MFC, OLE2, ActiveX),
it incorporates user interface standards developed
by Microsoft and the security of Windows NT
and 2000. PcVue has been developed with ARC's
considerable experience in the industrial
automation sector and conceived using the
recommendations of Integrators, OEMs and End-users.
PcVue is more than simple
software for graphic animation; it is a product
able to meet industrial standards of reliability
and performance while still maintaining the
user-friendliness of an office application.
PcVue is a flexible solution intended
for the supervision of industrial processes,
utilities and infrastructures.
PcVue meets the requirements of both
straightforward single-user applications and
of complex client-server applications with
redundant capability.
WebVue
- Internet based access
WebVue is client-server
application designed to display mimics from
PcVue on a Web Browser (Internet Explorer,
Netscape etc.). WebVue
is composed of a thin client (known as the
WebVue Client) that runs under a Java virtual
machine in a Web Browser and a server (known
as the WebVue Server) that is a component
of PcVue. The client and server communicate
using IP (Internet Protocol) over an Intranet,
Internet or RAS connection.
Using an ordinary Web browser, WebVue
provides remote display and control of your
processes using an Internet or Intranet
connection.
Architecture WebVue has two components
: an applet that is held on the Web clients,
and a server that provides the mimics and
data from a dedicated PcVue application.
Technical overview
PcVue's dedicated HTTP server provides the
Web browser on the client station with:
An HTML start-up page
All of the basic JAVA classes for the
WebVue client applet.
As soon as it is loaded, the WebVue
applet:
Connects to the server via a TCP/IP connection
Authenticates the user
Downloads the required mimic
Updates graphic elements of the mimic
dynamically from the PcVue server
Supports navigation among the application's
mimics
Authorizes acknowledgement of alarms,
the issuing of remote commands and remote
logging within the users' rights
DataVue
- Data reporting
DataVue is
a tool for the extraction of historic, trend,
log and report data generated by PcVue. It
supports PcVue proprietary file formats as
well as standard database formats such as
Access, Oracle version 8 and SQL Server. DataVue
offers many pre-defined functions and configures
extraction or report requests, which may be
launched via DDE from other applications such
as PcVue.
Technical overview DataVue allows the selection
of historical data files and saves them in
Microsoft Access format.
DataVue extracts the historical data
using a set of properties defined by the user
(data, event type, value, variable property,
etc.). A filter generator enables you to save
specific queries for later use.
Using pre-defined queries, DataVue
can automatically export the history of a
number of variables to Excel.
DataVue can run statistical
calculations on extracted data (minimum, maximum,
average, etc).
DataVue synchronizes data from different
variables using time based sampling of historic
data. The results can be exported in ASCII,
Windows Clip Board or Excel formats.
Exported data may be formatted for presentation
as a report, graphic or pie chart using an
Excel macro or pre-defined function in DataVue.
PlantVue
- The HMI for Machine and Factory Floor Supervision
PlantVue is
a stand-alone, soft HMI (Human Machine Interface)
designed to offer a simple, flexible and powerful
solution in the Windows environment. Real
time data may be collected using OPC servers
provided by the equipment manufacturers and
build in serial and Ethernet drivers that
cover the major products on the market.
