Modbus gateway to provide Modbus communication
between Ethernet and serial Modbus devices.
Modbus is one of the most popular industrial
control and data acquisition protocol. Considering
the different between Modbus TCP (Ethernet)
and Modbus ASCII/RTU (Serial), Ethernet
Direct new solution BMM-101 is ideal for
the integration of Modbus Ethernet and serial
devices. By deploying BMM-101, Modbus serial
slave devices can be seamlessly incorporated
into an existing Modbus TCP network and
Modbus TCP slaves can be made accessible
to serial masters compatible with almost
any Modbus network.

Supports loop back mode. Data is echoed
back for easily testing the connection
Hassle Free Configuration
Ethernet Direct understands the need for
user friendly configuration tools when it
comes to application requirements. BMM-101
is designed with user friendly management
software which provides an easy way to configure
BMM-101. This software would be able to
search devices within a local area network
independent of its subnet. It can also locate
a device with a specific IP address over
wide area network. BMM-101 can also be configured
by its console port or through telnet connection
and also comes with WEB interface for easy
configuration.
In order to make connection testing easy,
BMM-101 works at Loop back Mode in which
all data is sent back immediately.
