launches 4 new models of Industrial PoE
switches to offer a comprehensive range
of 802.3af based Power over Ethernet products
with optimized and scalable power delivery
for more efficient power management.
As PoE technology is becoming useful for
powering IP telephones, wireless LAN access
points, Network cameras, Ethernet hubs,
embedded computers, sensors, card readers
and other appliances where it would be inconvenient,
the CUE series of Industrial PoE switches
from Ethernet Direct provides stable power
supply and deliver 10/100Mb data transmission
over the same twisted pair cable. This is
an ideal solution for many industrial applications.
CUE series comes in 4 models namely CUE-111,
CUE-113, CUE-411 and CUE-413. All models
automatically sense and support both PoE
and non-PoE Ethernet devices. The Power
Sourcing Equipment (PSE), and are fully
compatible with Powered Devices (PD) that
complies with the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard.
Ethernet Direct’s CUE series are designed
to tolerate harsh industrial environment
and operates with external 48VDC power source
to deliver up to 15.4 watts power in maximum
and 10/100Mb data transmission over Ethernet
cables.
The CUE Industrial PoE switches support
various power protection like PoE overload
current protection, port to port isolation,
PoE over voltage and under-voltage protection,
4000 VDC Ethernet ESD protection and PoE
short circuit protection.
