The Jaguar Series JMG-3628 is a layer 3 fast Ethernet enterprise switch with the stackable function. It features twenty four 10/100Base-T(X) RJ-45 ports, two GE RJ-45 and two GE SFP ports to leverage backbone network requirements. With 12.8Gbps backplane, the switch delivers wire-speed performance for layer 2 and layer 3 IP routing on all ports. JMG-3628 provides advanced management features like multi-layer ring protection, IGMP, QoS, SNMP/Web/Telnet/CLI, VLAN, LACP and layer 3 IP routing. By using IP clustering, it allows virtual stack of up to 36 switches, and the whole stack can be managed as a single entity with a single IP address. JMG-3628 is designed with hardware based IP based routing, RIP, OSPF, DVMRP, PIM-DM multicast routing and VRRP. JME-3638 comes with enhanced security yet still offers a user-friendly platform for easy management. The Jaguar Series is a true investment protection and future proof Layer 3 switch suitable for various network applications.
