Taipei, Taiwan, 23 April, 2010 – Ethernet Direct Corporation, a professional and primary provider of industrial networking and communication solutions, announces Falcon FWO-708 which is a new generation high power output Industrial IEEE 802.11b/g compliant 2.4GHz wireless outdoor access point designed for industrial Ethernet applications.
The Falcon Series FWO-708 is a 2.4GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g compliant Outdoor Wireless Access Point available for Industrial Ethernet applications. With innovative technology design, FWO-708 provides up to 54Mbps high data rate for outdoor environment. It links two or more separate networks to create a single expanded LAN network cost effectively and efficiently. The robust IP-68 housing protects the device from harsh outdoor environment – weatherproof, waterproof, and dustproof. FWO-708 supports four different operation modes namely Access Point, Bridge, Wireless Client and Repeater. In addition, the built-in Power over Ethernet design reduces the cost of power cable installation and provides future proof investment. To secure information, it comes with WEP encryption and WPA/WPA2 function. With these advanced features, FWO-708 is a powerful outdoor wireless solution with 800mW output power designed for industrial applications.
